South Morang Mews is a purpose built low and high care residential aged care home opened in July 2003. Our mission is to provide excellent care and services to our residents and to be active in our pursuit of best practice. We will create and foster a dynamic environment for staff and residents where an atmosphere of growth and change will be nurtured, and cultural, spiritual and emotional needs respected.

We offer a modern, well appointed facility with 58 single rooms and five 'suites' (double sized) rooms, which are suitable for couples or individuals. All rooms have their own ensuites. Our living areas are generous and welcoming.

Five of our low care residential places are in self contained (one bedroom) living units on site, which are available for residents (funded or unfunded) who want to maintain that extra degree of independence. All residential services are provided. Accommodation includes:

Resident's rights are fully respected and staff committed to assisting and actively encouraging residents to lead an independent lifestyle in a secure and caring environment and to maintain close links with the wider community. Lifestyle programs, incorporating excursions, hobby and special interest choices are tailored to meet individuals' preferences. Our Residents' Committee provides additional support to each resident and plays an important role in the management decisions of the service.

Residents of South Morang Mews are offered a choice of meal from its a-la-carte style menus and individual preferences and dietary needs are accommodated wherever possible. Meals are prepared on site by our qualified Chef and catering staff.
