ABOUT US

Established in 2008, Heritage Lakes offers 44 high care, 63 low care places and 13 Dementia services. It is an Ageing In Place aged care home. In 2012 Heritage Lakes was purchased by Estia Health who has a focus on the dignity and freedoms of residents. This is central to the home's philosophy. Estia Health successfully operates eight aged care homes across Melbourne.

WHAT WE OFFER

The Heritage Lakes team is comprised of Registered Nurse Division 1, Division 2 and Personal Care Assistants. Our attentive staff focuses on the individual needs of our residents with a tailored care plan for each person. Our dedication can be seen across the board - in our cooking, hospitality, housekeeping and organising activities for our residents.

With access to visiting Doctors, Physiotherapists, Podiatrists, Dentists and Optometrists, Heritage Lakes provides not only complete care but in a welcoming and home like atmosphere.

ROOMS

The high and low care sections offer spacious single rooms with en-suites. A double room is available for couples. All rooms have emergency buttons, and the option of a private telephone.

The well appointed main lounge room has a baby grand piano, fireplace and cocktail bar. The outdoor areas are well maintained, some equipped with BBQs. There are a number of smaller sitting rooms and kitchenettes as well as a pub, all ideal for family gatherings and celebrations.

MEALS

Delicious meals are freshly cooked on-site by our Chefs. Residents choose their meals from the daily menu, which offers a full range of different cuisines and is created in consultation with our residents and dietician. Special diets can be catered for.

LIFESTYLE AND LEISURE

We place the utmost importance on the quality of life for each resident and encourage them to maintain their hobbies and interests – and hopefully develop a few new ones along the way. Heritage Lakes has a varied and imaginative agenda of activities, carefully chosen by a dedicated activities coordinator. From shopping trips to the men's shed, the focus is on the individual.

OUTDOOR FACILITIES

Our courtyards are spacious and features barbecue facilities, vegetable gardens and our very own lake. There are ample shaded areas for residents to relax or entertain family.

SECURITY

Automatic security doors, keypads and card readers, allowing access to authorized persons only, protect Heritage Lakes. The key areas of the facility are monitored by video surveillance.

LAUNDRY

Heritage Lakes has an onsite commercial laundry, able to cater for most laundry needs. We also have a clothes labelling facility.
