Hailey House is a 60 bed facility located at 703 Norman Street Ballarat North. Hailey House is a modern light filled facility on beautifully maintained grounds. The facility boasts a wide sun filled glass entrance and attractive wide corridors to welcome residents and guests alike. It is close to shops with public transport at the front entrance. The facility consists of three houses; each containing 20 good sized single rooms with private ensuites built-in wardrobes a beautiful bay window and a delightful garden view. Residents are encouraged to personalise their space with soft furnishings photographs mementos and small furniture items. All rooms have access to telephone lines and television antenna. Each house boasts a spacious lounge with flat screen television and DVD player kitchen and restaurant style dining area and a lovely sunroom that can be used for family meals. Residents and families are able to access the gardens via pathways wandering throughout the facility with beautiful shade trees and seats in small sunny quiet areas. There are two outdoor areas covered with shade sails one with gas BBQ facilities and one in a private garden area. Residents are able to participate in gardening activities with qualified lifestyle staff and are encouraged to make the garden area outside their window a personal space. The facility has a purpose built large activities room suitable for large functions with an outdoor entertaining area attached as well as a smaller function room that is ideal for family gatherings. The sunrooms lounge rooms and activities area are available for family functions or to gather on special occasions. A range of allied health services including dietetics and speech pathology is provided. Residents can also access a large number of visiting services including their own General Practitioner hairdressing and other services as required.
