ABOUT US

March 2012 saw Estia Health purchase Werribee Terrace Aged Care. With this change of ownership has come a refurbishment of the home. Now with new flooring, furniture and our own key staff members, Werribee Terrace has become a true caring home away from home. Werribee Terrace is a 70 bed high care facility with capacity for 11 residents in our secure dementia section.

WHAT WE OFFER

The Werribee Terrace team is comprised of Registered Nurse Division 1, Division 2 and Personal Care Assistants. Our attentive staff focuses on the individual needs of our residents with a tailored care plan for each person. Our dedication can be seen across the board - in our cooking, hospitality, housekeeping and organising activities for our residents. With access to visiting Doctors, Physiotherapists, Podiatrists, Dentists and Optometrists, Werribee Terrace provides not only complete care but in a welcoming and home like atmosphere.

ROOMS

Offering spacious single rooms with ensuites, all rooms have a garden or courtyard view and emergency buttons. Some rooms are large enough to accommodate couples. The well appointed main lounge room and dining room can be extended into the well maintained courtyard. This courtyard is ideal for sitting in the warmer months and is equipped with a BBQ and outdoor furniture. There are a number of smaller sitting rooms and a kitchenette all ideal for family gatherings and celebrations.

MEALS

Delicious meals are freshly cooked on-site by our Chefs. Residents choose their meals from the daily menu, which offers a full range of different cuisines and is created in consultation with our residents and dietician. Special diets are catered for.

LIFESTYLE AND LEISURE

The majority of our residents and staff come from the immediate area. Therefore we are not only culturally sensitive but have a genuine understanding of the various local cultures. Werribee Terrace has a varied and imaginative agenda of activities, carefully chosen by a dedicated activities coordinator. From cooking sessions to helping plan and maintain the vegetable gardens, the focus is on the individual. We place the utmost importance on the quality of life for each resident and encourage them to maintain their hobbies and interests – and hopefully develop a few new ones along the way.

SECURITY

Automatic security doors, keypads and card readers allow access to authorised persons only. They are there to protect Werribee Terrace and our residents.

LAUNDRY

Heritage Lakes has an onsite commercial laundry, able to cater for most laundry needs. We also have a clothes labelling facility.
