Brickendon Lodge is a fully accredited 60 bed low care facility. We pride ourselves on conducting our business with integrity, providing a quality of life with dignity involving individualised planned care and serving the residents of our community with distinction.

Brickendon is situated in a quiet leafy street in West Rosebud. The entire facility is surrounded by landscaped gardens, with quiet courtyards and sitting areas. Each room has its own ensuite and enjoys views of the picturesque gardens. Residents are encouraged to entertain their families and friends in the private areas throughout the home and dine with them for a small fee.

Each resident's social profile is prepared by our lifestyle coordinator and their particular interests are incorporated into the activities programs which are provided over a seven day period.

Brickendon Lodge Residential Care Home is committed to ensuring that all staff have the training required to deliver the best care to residents. Training and education are provided through a series of internal training packages including topics such as: diabetes, medication administration for Personal Carers, continence management Div (2), Div (1). External education providers are also utilised where needs, such as wound management, medication management and diabetic management are identified by staff.

Many Brickendon Lodge personal care providers have gone on to becoming Divisional (2) and (1) Nurses. Brickendon Lodge Aged Care encourages career pathways for those staff who wish to take on more responsibilites. We have many examples of staff who started off as kitchen hands and cleaners and personal care trainees and who are now into several years of service with Brickendon Lodge. Several Registered Nurses have also taken on higher promotions within Brickendon Lodge Aged Care.
