Since 1958, Resthaven Murray Bridge has offered aged care accommodation and services for people 60 years and over who need assistance with day to day activities. Over the years, there have been many additions and improvements. The facility offers 53 high level and 25 low level care places, including a 17 place secure unit for people with memory loss and confusion, and one low level respite care place.

Features include the communal entertainment areas, volunteer opportunities, hairdresser, a small o-site 'trolley' shop, bus trips, a library and regular newsletters. There is always something going on - films, concerts, quizzes - it's your choice to participate or not.

Eligibility for care requires an independent assessment by an Australian Government Aged Care Assessment Team. Following assessment approval, Resthaven's admissions process includes an evaluation to ensure our facilities are appropriate and that accommodation is offered to those applicants with the greatest need. Each person's circumstances differ, and our staff discuss individual needs and advise the next steps.
