Bupa Eden (previously known as Eden Community Aged Care) is an 85 bed home built specifically for our elderly community and opened in June 2009. Our home caters for high care residents, low care residents and has a secure wing for residents with memory loss.

Numerous lounge areas are provided throughout the home and tea and coffee making facilities are provided in each household for residents and their guests. A special private dining area is available for residents for special family functions.

Our meals are prepared fresh from our on-site kitchen by our experienced staff. Residents are encouraged to use the dining room in their household for all meals, as an opportunity to enjoy the dining experience and socialise with other residents and staff. A four week rotating menu ensures a variety of quality food is offered and special needs are accommodated. The main meal is served at lunchtime, with a lighter style of meal in the evening. Meals are delivered to residents' rooms when they are unable to attend the dining room.

We have a comprehensive activity program which is designed to enhance the lifestyle of each resident and focuses on the individual interests and abilities of those who come to live with us. Some activities are held in specific households for residents in that household and many large activities, such as church services, concerts, Anzac services etc. are shared by all the residents in the larger community areas. We provide a variety of activities, including those directed to moderate exercising of the mind and body, including quiz sessions, bingo, arts, crafts and special focus days such as Melbourne Cup, children's day, pet shows, depending on resident's preferences.

Our gardens and outdoor areas can be enjoyed in the warmer weather. In the cooler weather the extensive gardens with plentiful flowers can be viewed from inside through our large window areas in lounge rooms, resident rooms and walkways.
